On behalf of one of our clients, an IT company, we are seeking a suitable candidate for the position of BMC Remedy Developer/Administrator. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Interview users, run focus groups, facilitate workshops 

• Perform research, analysis, collect data, analyze and document results 

• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment 

• Prototyping 

• Develop/maintain programs that reflect the specifications based on user requirements 

• Capturing, analyzing and overseeing the implementation of usability or user interface related requirements 

• Definition and integration of the various required technological components 

• Implementation of integrations with other applications and/or developed modules 

• Development of change data capture procedures on the source system(s) 

• Implementation of the data flow from the sources to the data integration layers (ETL modeling) 

• Development of batch processes with functional dependencies 

• Providing necessary reports on the use, data quality, logs when requested 

• Applying and supporting quality assurance: unit testing and code coverage checking, performing functional, integration and performance testing 

• Configuration of workflows 

• Assist with deployment and configuration management 

• Provide technical input to analysts and project managers for drafting of technical analysis documents 

• Produce the relevant technical documentation and documentation for the support team 

• Assist with training the users of the system 

• Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by external system suppliers to ensure that they conform to the client’s requirements 

• Participation in meetings with the users and other relevant parties 

• Support the work for installing/configuring the software required in the environments of the project 

• Support troubleshooting activities in production environment 

• Providing recommendations on technical and functional aspects on solutions based on BMC Remedy. 

Required Qualifications:  

• Successful training/education by a competent institute, in relevant subject 

• English: C1 

• Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) processes and best practices especially on event, service request, incident, problem and change management 

• Good knowledge and skills in regards to BMC Remedy ver 9.1 and up (install, patch, troubleshoot, develop) 

• Working in an international/multicultural environment 

• Experience working with Agile 

• Experience in the following areas: 

• UML or similar modeling techniques 

• Business Analysis 

• Agile 

• Usability / user experience analysis 

• Remedy administration console and related customization 

• tools (BMC Remedy Developer Studio v 9.1 and above) 

• Web/Application Server: Microsoft IIS v 7.5 

• BMC Remedy Service Desk (v 9.1 and above) 

• Approval Server (v 9.1 and above) 

• Assignment Engine (v 9.1 and above) 

• BMC Remedy Action Request System Server (v 9.1 and 

• above) 

• BMC Remedy Email Engine (v 9.1 and above) 

• BMC Remedy Mid-Tier (v 9.1 and above) 

• Apache Tomcat (v 6 and v7) 

• Java JDK/JRE v.6 u.29, v.7 and v.8 

• Database: MS SQL 2016 or later 

• Experience in business analysis desirable 

• Experience in using DevOps tools and methodologies is desirable 

• Experience performing Remedy upgrade projects (versions 8.x – 9.x) 

• Experience with web technologies and web services including Remedy APIs 

• Experience building Remedy integrations with managed service providers and third parties, and other 3rd party tools 

• Experience to trouble shoot web service related calls using SOAP UI 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development and maintenance, with at least 1 year hands-on experience in BMC Remedy.
