On behalf of one of our clients, an IT company, we are seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Data Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure asset protection through the provision of clean, consistent, quality assured data. Maintain the integrity of data, store and search data and support the presentation of data analysis:
- Business analysis, interview users, run focus groups, facilitate workshops
- Define, build and optimize data models
- Proactively protect confidentiality and security of data
- Ensure data lifecycle support
- Curate and archive data
- Advise on appropriate data analytic methodology
- Ensure data quality and integrity
- Maintain data quality and compliance to legal standards
- Perform research, analysis, collect data, analyze and document results
- Retrieve, transform, make available and present complex scientific data
- Provide technical documentation (software architecture documents, manuals, algorithm documentation).
Required Qualifications:
- Successful training/education by a competent institute, in relevant subject
- English: C1
- Data Integration, Business intelligence, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Analytics
- Working in an international/multicultural environment
- Minimum 2 years of overall Data management experience and experience in working in projects
- Experience in relevant data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Python, SQL, Spark
- Text analytics/text mining using Lucene, elastic search, SolR or similar tools
- Data Integration using Oracle ODI or similar
- Data visualization using Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, SAP BI or similar tools
- Familiarity with physicochemical, fate and (eco)toxicological properties relevant for chemical risk assessment and Chemo-informatics
- Statistics.
