On behalf of one of our clients, an IT company, we are seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Developer. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Interview users, run focus groups, facilitate workshops  

• Perform research, analysis, collect data, analyze and document results 

• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment 

• Prototyping 

• Develop/maintain programs that reflect the specifications based on user requirements 

• Capturing, analyzing and overseeing the implementation of usability or user interface related requirements 

• Definition of the logical and physical structure of websites and web pages 

• Definition of navigation methods 

• Definition and integration of the various required technological components 

• Assisting or participating in the development of complex web-enabled applications, from front-end to back-end systems 

• Assisting or participating in the development of distributed applications for internet/intranet environments 

• Implementation of integrations with other applications and/or developed modules 

• Communication with the source data team to obtain the source data structures and map these against the entities and attributes in the data integration layers 

• Design of the physical data models following the EDM content and standards and methodology that have been defined by the Data Integration Architect 

• Development of change data capture procedures on the source system(s) 

• Implementation of the data flow from the sources to the data integration layers (ETL modeling) 

• Development of batch processes with functional dependencies 

• Lead the technical validation tests of the ETL developments 

• Development of business user reports 

• Communication with end users to gather report requirements 

• Development and maintenance of data models (e.g. Business Objects Universes)  

• Applying quality assurance 

• Configuration of workflows 

• Assist with deployment and configuration management 

• Provide technical input to analysts and project managers for drafting of technical analysis documents 

• Produce the relevant technical documentation and documentation for the support team 

• Assist with training the users of the system 

• Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by external system suppliers to ensure that they conform to the client’s requirements 

• Participation in meetings with the users 

• Support the work for installing/configuring the software required in the environments of the project 

• Support troubleshooting activities in production environment. 

Required Qualifications:  

• Successful training/education by a competent institute, in a subject relevant to the tasks at hand 

• English: C1 

• Working in an international/multicultural environment  

• Experience working with Agile, if requested for the Specific Contract 

• Experience in the following areas, if requested for the Specific Contract: UML or similar modeling techniques, Business Analysis, ETL tools (e.g. Oracle ODI), Reporting tools (e.g. SAP BI, MS PowerBI), Big Data, Agile, Usability / user experience analysis, UI prototyping tools, Creating mock-ups / wireframes, OWASP 

• Experience in business analysis desirable 

• Experience in using DevOps tools and methodologies is desirable 

• Experience from secure coding practices is desirable 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development and maintenance, with at least 1 year hands-on experience falling into the range of technologies listed in these specifications.
